Volunteer Researcher - Sustainable Fashion
Period: 3 months
This is a great opportunity to gain voluntary experience working in a friendly team within a dynamic and high-impact charity working internationally to secure environmental justice.
The role is voluntary for a period of 3 months, minimum of 2 days per week. Based in the Bath office, local (Bath/Bristol) travel costs will be paid together with a lunch allowance.
Objective: Support EJF’s cotton campaign, which generates greater public awareness of unsustainable fashion (and cotton in particular). It drives corporate and policy developments to remedy abuses and generate support for organic, fair trade and carbon neutral fashion.
In this role you will produce a briefing/report to build consumer, corporate and political awareness of the environmental and human rights abuses linked to cotton production. The research should place this focus within the context of (un)sustainable fashion.
Alongside the briefing, a blog and associated digital comms (page for the website, infographics, social media posts) will be produced.
